This festive and informal outdoor event is a place to participate in a classical musical event in an unusual enviroment.
The Guinguette Lyrique is above all characterized by its unusual venue: the hilltop Sainte Cécile du Cayrou, with is breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and Gresigne forest, looking down the slopes towards Gaillac.
At the top of the hill there is the small, charming church if Sainte Cecile, who is considered to be the patron saint of musicians. A magical spot.
The soloists and instrumental musicians of the Academy of the Festival will be presenting a series of mini-concerts every 15 minutes, in the church. The mini-concerts take place throughout the evening. Between concerts, delicious food and refreshments will be available from the volunteers of HARP. The music within the church will also be broadcast outside the church through loudspeakers.
