During the workshops, we will be rehearsing and working intensively each day: participants are therefore expected to have a minimum of previous experience in choral singing or chamber music/orchestra.
The participants are also required to have studied and prepared their music prior to their arrival at the festival. Singers: you'll get per mail scores and mp3 files. These are files specially prepared for each voice group.
Please print your material before your arrival
Musicians from all over Europe will be joining us: rehearsal instruction will be done mostly in French, but also in German and English ... and always in a cheerful manner

In good spirit
The goal of the workshop is the musical development and personal enjoyment of the participants through hard work, good music, and conviviality during the time we spend together.
You will be accompanied by artistic and teaching specialists who will share their abilities and knowledge with you.
In addition to the large group activities (rehearsals, concerts, meals, excursions) there will be smaller groups (voice group rehearsals, string sections rehearsals, breathing and voice workshops, ...).
a place with a soul
Puycelsi is a gem set in an exquisite natural surrounding, far from the beaten paths of everyday life; it has come down to us through the centuries, complete with its own spirit, and it is a pleasure for us to share with you the history and life of our community. An important aspect of our program is the possibility to explore the countryside, to experience the rehearsals in the small churches of nearby villages, to partake of the local gastronomy (wine, honey, local agriculture products), to enjoy meals, and of course to attend the special concerts of visiting classical musical artists.
